Iris in sunlight from wet plate collodion negative

from 25.00

I used the wet plate collodion process to photograph this flower because I wanted the bright, sharp contrasty light of midday while maintaining a shallow depth of field.

I'm influenced by the early 20th century photographers such as Tina Mondotti and Edward Weston from the work they both did in Mexico.
